AS-Level Art
These first ones are based on the theme of 'beauty';
And this was based on 'madness' and bedlam and agoraphobia and stuff;
more to be added :)

Entertaining Mr Sloane: set and costume designs
Went for the theme of 'distorted views'. The warped and broken mirrors represent the way the characters have a distorted view of themselves.
Kath sees herself as an irresistible femme fatale, when infact she is a middle aged, slightly haggard woman.
Ed, in his own eyes, is a suave and sophisticated businessman; in reality he is probably a dodgy used car salesman-type, flogging dodgy goods, attempting to hide his homosexuality.
Sloane is, despite what he thinks, by no means an indestructible puppeteer, manipulating everyone around him.
And Kemp is definitely an old man, but has a courageous side that is
not appreciated by the people around him.
So yeah, Entertaining Mr.Sloane. 1964. Who doesn't love a play where it ends with the siblings sharing their lover, 6 months at a time...

The immense cuteness of the fox

Ok, went to the library to get out a dvd for the weekend. Ended up with one of my fave films of my childhood, The fox and the hound.
I'm guessing it was this film that started my obsession with foxes of all types. But seriously, look at those pictures and tell me your heart doesn't melt..
I want a pet fox...
weird how i also have an obsession with fox fur stoles...
